As the rhetoric goes, reading is beneficial in advancing your education and providing the foundations to further your development as a contributing citizen. I do not disagree with this. Reading enhances many aspects that are necessary for a prosperous future. However non-fiction books are usually formulated around the writers personal opinion. After all, someone looking to advance the welfare state is not going to pen an article about the benefits of free market exchange. This is why I believe that reading is only part of the solution. You also need to form your own opinions and ideas. Writing is one of the best ways to do do. This blog is my way of digesting all the information and ideas that I encounter on a day-to-day basic and the struggle to place these opinions into an order that is digestible and easy to call upon when analysing a situation.
